Son Bou stretches 3km around the coast of Menorca and is famed for its calm waters, perfect for swimming and chilling out in the warm Menorca waters. Son Bou is also a great beach for sun bathing and relaxing due to its fine sands. Other great beaches on the island are Cala Binibeca, Cala Binisafuller and Els Canutells which are charming beaches, also known for their calm waters and beautiful sands

Airport Info

Menorca Airport handles around 1 million passengers per year and serves 36 airports from across Europe. The airport welcomes aircraft from 48 different travel operators and as such accommodates much of Europe. The airport opened in 1969 and now has 16 gates connected to its main terminal building.

Menorca Airport is located 4.5km southwest of Mahon.

Menorca Airport offers cafes, shops and restaurants that will make your travel through the airport as easy as possible. The airport also offers car hire and car parking meaning get to and from the airport is pain free and convenient. The main terminal building also offers plenty of seating to relax and chill before or after your flight.

To and from the airport

By Taxi
Taxis are available outside the terminal building and offer service all of the local towns and areas. A taxi into the town of Mahon will cost roughly 10 Euros and can be booked prior to arriving at the airport.

By Bus
Bus services run every 30 minutes from the main terminal buildings and service all of the local towns. The service is as cheap as 1.50 Euros per passengers and offers a convenient way to get to and from the airport.

By Car
Menorca Airport has car hire services available from the main terminal building. The airport is located in the southwest region of the island, however the road network around the airport is heavily signposted with directions indicating routes to towns across the island.
